Consciousness Train

In retrospect, 

How can we look but not see?  If we do see, how can we see what is not there?

The Constitution and Declaration of Independence has been with us at our beginnings.  Religion, Police, Business, Capitalism, Crime and Corruption has always existed.  Perhaps we were to busy to see it, to know it, to find a greater meaning in it, who we are and what we are.  For we have been both bad and good stewards of this land.  But we bought time in all our efforts, time to know, to feel to determine a better tomorrow.  The skeletons in our closet were ugly, perhaps we didn’t know how bad they were, perhaps we did, but buried them deep within.  But through out the wars and wasted lives we persevered, we bought time to grow, advance, to determine what and how we should live as individuals and families. Governments and nations not as well. We tried to understand the furthermost edges of the known, trying to expand the boundaries.  We were adventurous, we sought the unknown, the unexplored.  When we stopped, we had to look at all we had undone in our haste, our foundations we had let erode, decaying in a manner that was trying to pull us back into our past faster than we could go forward to our future.  We were stalled, the world was turned inside out. What was right was wrong.  Truth was a lie. We were out of rotation, there was no normal, only novel, chaos on the edge of destiny.  As if to imply a point where taking note of oneself, what one believes, what one is responsible for, of the single purpose we are here at this time and place can be drawn on parchment of the past, and the redemption of the future.  The significance of this time and the meaning to our days and generations of the coming future is beyond imagination.
